MEETmeTonight 2025
MEETmeTonight took place in Milan on September 26–27 as part of the European Researchers’ Night. The event brought together over 400 researchers for talks, workshops, and interactive exhibits to connect science and society. Funded by the European Union under the MEET project, it was part of a Europe-wide initiative held in over 460 cities.
I collaborated with "formicablu", the event’s coordinator, and designed the visual identity and graphics, bringing color and coherence to an event that celebrated research, creativity, and community.
THE PROCESS:
In this 2025 edition, the focus was placed on the five EU Missions within Horizon Europe:
- Climate change adaptation
- Cancer prevention and treatment
- Climate-neutral and smart cities
- Protecting oceans, seas, lakes, and rivers
- Soil health

During the event, visitors could navigate the different activities through five thematic areas, each tied to one of the EU Missions.
To bring this structure to life visually, I developed a two-level graphic approach: a first, general level to introduce the event as a whole, and a second, flexible level designed for social media and program communications, highlighting each of the five Missions and giving them their moment in the spotlight.
The first level uses images that recall the main colors of the previous edition — purple and yellow — to present the event in general terms.

The second level uses images to illustrate the specific missions, which will then be featured inside the thematic pavilions during the event.
